Artist’s text
For me, memory is not clear and orderly. It settles in layers, unravels, overlaps, and resurfaces in different forms. In painting, this memory becomes matter, a trace, a scar, a restoration, silence. Each work captures something of this movement; not a confession, nor an episode, but a state of being that has passed through time and remained.
The works naturally settled into several clusters that became the exhibition’s series: The Heavy Beginning, The Crossing, The Weight, The Pages Thin Out, Suspended Fragments, Dissolution. I did not conceive them as separate chapters, but as movements in the same inner journey, born from the need to hold together memory, vulnerability, and resilience.
